The LARK® Quartz Cuvette LBQ-204 (Type B1) supplied by Apex Labs is a premium optical cell specifically designed for high-precision fluorometry and fluorescence spectroscopy applications. As a macro fluorescence cell, it features a standard 10 mm optical path length with a 3.5 mL nominal sample capacity. Unlike standard UV-Vis spectrophotometer cells that feature two transparent and two frosted walls, the Quartz Cuvette LBQ-204 fluorescence cell is engineered with 4 optically polished clear windows plus an optically clear base, allowing excitation and emission light beams to pass freely at right angles without internal scatter or reflection loss. Each unit comes complete with a precision-fit PTFE lid to prevent cross-contamination and volatile solvent evaporation.
